The president of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, the mayor of Sopot Jacek Karnowski, famous people of Armenian Community and numerous representatives of art loving society were present at the opening of the exhibition. Bronislaw Komorowski spoke favourably of the role of Armenian people in the history and reality of Poland, thus representing the creative activity of ,,Armenian artist Hovhannes Aivazian,,* and so forth.From the Republic of Armenia the director of the NGA P. Mirzoyan, the deputy director of the Research department A. Hakobyan, the chief restorer of the NGA I. Poghosyan and the art critic Sh. Khachatryan were present at the exhibition. The facilitator of the exhibition from Sopot was painter Gagik Parsamyan. At the same time at Sopot gallery the exhibition of Polish painter of Armenian origin Teodor Axentowitcz opened as well. In October, 2014 the exhibition of his artworks is going to be open at the NGA.
At the end of the day the solo concert of the pianist Arthur Papazian took place at Sopot ,,Forest Opera,, open-air concert hall. About 5000 people were present at the concert.
