1925 graduated from Paris school of architecture. Attended the Free Academies of Monparas. 1939 first one-man show in Paris. 1956 confered the "Legion of honour" knight title. 1979 elected a member of Academy of Art. 1992 one
of the templs of Monox painted by Carzou was converted into his museum.
