1890-1892 studied at Venice Murad - Raphayelyan College. Upgraded at Paris Julian Academy. 1900 at World Exhibition in Paris won I prize 1903 at Venice International Exhibition won the Grand-Prix 1928 was elected as an honored member of the Union of Armenian Artists. Is the author of many book illustrations. Lived and worked in France. Participates in exhibitions from 1896. Is a great master of etching, especially of dry-point. The National Gallery of Armenia has one of the richest collections of his works.
