On November 15 within the
bounds of “Cultural days of Karabagh in Armenia”
there was opened an exhibition of works by Artsakh artists which
carried a new vivacity in Yerevan
full of Cultural events autumnal life.
In
two large halls of National Gallery of Armenia there are exhibited about 57
painting, graphic and sculpture works by Artsakh artists. The exhibited works
are mostly created during this last years of Artsakh independence, which vivid
evidence is the presented themes, original colouring, ideas and generally the
internal mood.
In
painting works there are notable ouvres by Sergey Arustamyan “Dadivank”, Lenord
Zakaryan “Mravats”, Alexander Atayan “Mulberry harvest”, Zorik Galstyan, Zarine
Babayan “Shushi”, Gevorg Sargsyan “Autumn in Varanda Gorge” done in modern
realistic manner, in colouristic unique solution in which there are depicted
the magnificent nature and spirit of Artsakh Land. Here there are distinguished
also graphic works full of colour linear romanticism by Samvel Tavadyan in
which one can see the author’s inner aspiration and dreams.
There
are also original works by HovikGasparyan,
Alvard Grigoryan, Hrant Mnatsakanyan and a number of
colouristic works by other artists. There are also presented some sculptures
which authors maturely used the materials (wood, bronze, stone) with original
plastic turns and from creating highly artistic works: Albert Sargsyan “The
violoncellist”, Aram Tsatryan “Composition”, Lavrent Galstyan “ The return of
the soldier” etc. Though in some works there are noticeable influences by
remarkable Armenian masters, but it by no means doesn't weaken the quality of
this exhibition, which once more proves that the artistic and cultural life of Artsakh
acquires new stimulation and quality which is the result of intimate ties with
his Motherland Armenia.
