The Arutchyan anniversary exhibition is going to be organized at the National Gallery of Armenia.

 For the first time the works of these famous family representatives will be exhibited together. Artworks from the collections of the National Gallery of Armenia, from Y. Charents Museum of Literature and Arts, from Y. Charents Memorial Museum, as well as from the collection of the Arutchyan family will be exhibited here.
 
Arutchyan Mikael Avet
Born in 1897, in Shushi - Died in 1961, in Moscow.
The people’s artist Mikael Arutchyan was a graphic artist, art director and theatrical decorator. He decorated more than 90 theatrical performances, designed numerous books and was the author of various articles on art.

Arutchyan Sergey Avet
Born in 1912, in Baku – Died in 1986, in Yerevan.
The people’s artist Sergey Arutchyan was a graphic artist, art director and theatrical decorator, as well as a poster and satirical artist.
He was the decorator of many performances in G. Sundukian and Gyumri Drama Theatres. He was an artist of political posters and caricatures. He also was the chief designer of the magazine “Hedgehog”.

Arutchyan Ruben Sergey
Born in 1947, in Yerevan
Ruben Arutchyan is a celebrated artist of the Republic of Armenia, a painter and a graphic artist. He works in all genres. He has participated in the exhibitions since 1974. His private exhibitions were organized both in Armenia and abroad. Ruben Arutchyan decorated numerous interiors and created various art panels. He is the author of the emblems of the city of Shushi, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Mountainous Karabach. He is also the author of the Armenian 50 000 bank note and various coins.
Ruben Arutchyan twice was the chief artist of Yerevan City.
He was awarded the “Appreciation” medal of Mountainous Karabach.
