National Gallery of Armenia

 The National Gallery of Armenia and the Embassy of Italy to Armenia represent the exclusive exhibition “Colourful Visions of Ancient Rome. Mosaics from the Capitoline Museums”. The magnificent mosaic collection of the world’s most ancient museum, the Capitoline Museums of Rome, embraces rare samples found in residences and gardens as well as in tombs. These mosaics have decorated residences of various historical figures, including Julius Caesar. They express the richness and mastery of Roman mosaics.
The exhibition displays rich iconographic and ornamental variety of mosaics made of diverse types of material.
