Graphic Art Department

The department was established in 1988 and comprises two sub-sections: unique graphic art and printing graphic art. The graphic art collection houses about 12000 exhibits. Nearly half of them are objects of unique graphic art (drawing, pastel, water-colour, gouache painting, etc.), and the rest are samples of woodcut, lithography, linocut and etching. Over 5000 are works by Armenian painters. Two halls of the second floor of the museum building are especially designed for graphic art temporary exhibitions.

There are 5 members of the staff in the department.
